After a leisurely breakfast we had a quick trip to Iwo Jima.
The kids went to the cinema and the grown-ups went to see the Beach Boys - EXCELLENT!! While there a huge thunderstorm soaked the audience (not us as we were under the roof!) and cleared the air
and the electricity supply!!!! Emergency phone call received from the children who couldn't get back into the house as the power supply to the garage keypad was cut. On arrival at home we tried keys in the front door and couldn't get in. Yet again we were locked out!!!!!! We went out for dinner hoping that the electricity supply would be re-instated and ended up roaming around DC until 10.30pm.

Our burglar friend (Rog) and Chris broke the back window to get in and, much to the amusement of the letting agent, it's going to cost another $135 to fix!!!
